Evening of Figaro

A great operatic experience was had by all last Thursday when myself and others of note viewed “Le Nozze di Figaro” (The Marriage of Figaro, or so I am told) at The Metropolitan Opera in New York City.

Figaro was played by a woman whose last name was Coote. She was excellent as was the opera.

It was the first opera I’ve ever seen with a female singer who played a man whose last name was Coote.

Thank you, Frajaq.
