The gnomes from the north, or wherever they’re from, have finally arrived here in the East Village of New York City bringing with them the first hint of holiday celebration – namely, stands to hold Christmas trees that will be for sale on First Avenue.
Some may see the extra tree traffic as a nuisance, but others, like myself, enjoy the smell of the fir.
In very local news, consideration on whether or not to pull the trigger for a Christmas tree for the home office continues.
