Christmas Kowabunga

Another Christmas has hit the fan and let it be known that I am related to a very generous family. And, I’d like to formally apologize to my mother, in writing, regarding my comment about the scarf -when I first thought it was a sweater: “Uh oh.”

Many of my smaller, younger relatives scored themselves some good gifts including, my favorite, a stuffed Chia pet. I thought the green varmint only existed in alfalfa sprout form.. or whatever those green things are that grown on ‘em.

But, NO! The Chia has been reincarnated as a stuffed animal. A reverse evolution, if you will.

The best part of all is when you squeeze Chia. It says, of course, “Ch-ch-ch-Chia!”
