I Weightlifted Grandma

Up on the rooftop reindeer pause… actually, it must be my niece deadlifting my mom again.

For the first time in my life, I watched a young relative easily pick my mom off the ground. My sister suggested that she’s concerned the littlest weightlifter could become a circus act. No worries there, as it turns out.

I was relating this story to a colleague today and she laughed as she recalled a cousin that could do the same at a young age. Apparently, leverage once again has its advantage. With this sort of talent, according to my colleague, the little weightlifter may have some natural martial arts skills.

I won’t be messin’ with her frosted flakes anymore.
