View of Ground Zero in January of 2007
Another picture from above Ground Zero.
The World Trade Center remains a hive of activity. Even when I head home from work, the zenon lights are going full blast and the construction continues.
In the northwest corner of the construction zone, it appears they’re laying a foundation with several upright beams visible. I’m not sure exactly where everything goes, yet, in terms of where the Freedom Tower is, etc. But, I’m sure within a few months, it will become more evident. There are plans available here from the Lower Manhattan Development Corporation.
