Steel Columns of the Freedom Tower
Construction continues outside the office window and it seems to be moving swiftly.
Steel beams have already been put in place in the southern section of the World Trade Center area. Mayor Bloomberg of New York City and Governor Pataki broke ground on the space about a month ago.
The cornerstones were actually placed for the Freedom Tower about 2.5 years ago. Hard to believe it was that long ago but with all of the political wrangling I guess it’s understandable.
