NYC Taxi, The Ear Inn, Desmond’s Tavern
A rainy evening in the East Village made cabs tough to come by but I got lucky and snagged a yellow zephyr as it was speeding from west to east on Houston.
Last night’s cab driver was very talkative and friendly. I can’t remember exactly what he said due to the numbing effect of several Guinness earlier in the evening. Yesterday’s visits included the Ear Inn in Soho and Desmond’s Tavern in Murray Hill. Both proved satisfying.
