Met Museum Windows Paint with Light

Metropolitan Museum, New York City

I visited the Metropolitan Museum of Art today with a friend of mine and we enjoyed a spectacular light show on the facade of the building holding the museum’s american furniture collection.

Cupid could not have wished for more dramatic lighting… if indeed that is the love-arrowed one. In spite of the chilly February temperatures in New York City, the indoor atrium provided a springtime glimpse with running water fountains and warm sunlight.

If you’re near the museum on 82nd st. and 5th avenue, make sure to stop by the “American Wing” in the late afternoon.
