Veniero’s Bakery

The Easter Egg bread that you see in the photo was purchased at the always reliable Veniero’s on 11th St. between First and Second Avenue in New York City.

In the past, Veneiro’s has been a favorite location to pick up a birthday cake, cannoli or a few biscuits for breakfast.

I am told that the bread is sweet once you decide to give it a taste. For now, I’m holding off and letting it entertain me until the Easter holiday is over… or the sun goes down.
