All Star Game Party at Webster Hall Tonight: Lots of TVs

Tonight, Sharp, the electronics manufacturer, is hosting a pah-tay at Webster Hall on 11th Street between Third and Fourth Avenues for “Sharp retail partners, VIPs and MLB partners.” Translation: “Sharp lackeys and hired MLB guns such as former players.”

A man unloading equipment outside Webster Hall confirms that there are “a lot” of flat screen TVs inside Webster Hall. We’re thinking they’re Sharp TVs (EVP exclusive!). The Sharp press release confirms that “100 Sharp Aquos LCD TVs showing the MLB All-Star Game in high definition” are installed. (It wasn’t an exclusive, after all!)

Whoever shows up for the All-Star game party, we welcome them to the East Village and encourage them to check out the all the delightful, MLB Statues of Liberty sprinkled throughout the city.
